We like this hotel very much. Service is superb. The room decor was very nice. Front desk was as always very nice, eager to please. Housekeeping did a fine job all week. The staff throughout the hotel could not have been more helpful. I think you get what you pay for.

It a luxurious hotel prefect for relaxing. The supermarkt and outlet mall right across the street makes it convenient. And i highly recommend doing the bike trail. It was absolutely mazing riding through rice paddies with the cool wind and quite scenery.

Great hotel, perfect for foreigners looking for a little break from Japan, whether as a resident or during an extended tour, since it's both in the city and on the outskirts, as well. The winter lights (they're up until March) are beautiful, too! I would say it's hard to get to without a car or the shuttle from Sendai Station or Izumi-chuo Station, unless you can read the bus schedule in Japanese. We stayed in a garden-side suite, which was very large, unlike other Japanese hotels I've stayed in, where there's no room to even walk around. The view from the room was so great, we didn't even once turn on the large TV. The room was clean, as were the linens and the drawers. The bathroom was also quite spacious, with a full tub and a decent-sized shower. There was a broken light-fixture in the bathroom, but other than that, everything worked well and was quite clean. The food was very good. We had a stew in the glamping-style tent (and under the warmth of a kotatsu, or heated table), with cow tongue sushi and delicious ice cream the first night. We also enjoyed the happy hour (I can't remember the Japanese name for it right now), getting to taste sake that we wouldn't often have the opportunity to taste, even living in Japan. Breakfast was good, especially the made-to-order omelets and the rice porridge. Also, the coffee maker was out of the way, but provided plenty of options. There were a couple of other options, as well, including a Teppanyaki restaurant open for lunch and dinner, and an upscale Chinese restaurant on one of the top floors, but we didn't get the chance to eat their this time. Hopefully next time! In addition to the glamping-style dinner, we chose to do morning Yoga and a mushroom farm visit in the afternoon. Yoga was good; nothing too difficult, even for an inflexible guy like me, and the instructor was very nice and helpful for us first-timers. The Shiitake Mushroom Farm visit was great! We picked a few mushrooms, saw how and where they were grown, and then joined the farmer's wife at a small festival where she prepared some mushrooms for us to eat! It was quite beautiful. We were also told that we could've reserved these activities even if we weren't guests at the hotel, which is pretty cool. I'd say overall, 5 stars, minus 1 for the over-looked maintenance. Room 5/5 Food and Drinks 5/5 Cleanliness/Maintenance 4/5 Beauty 10/5 P.S. It's close across the street from a lot of shopping, and it's very near to a golf course, if those are your things.

The hotel is really a nice little unexpected gem of a hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the door*** with a warm welcome. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. Breakfast is excellent. Excellent customer service. Bed is very comfortable. The chef made toast specially for me so it was hot.

The lobby was beautiful and the staff offers you rose tea at check in. The housekeeper gives a detailed explanation about everything in the room. There is a garden outside where there is a pond and lawn. Colorful lights light up the trees along the pond. Breakfast is in Chef’s Terrace and is very good.

The hotel is outside the city center, but the free shuttle from Sendai Station (or alternatively nearby highway access), amazing hotel interior with unmatched service, and host of unique activities such as "glamping" (glamorous camping) more than make up for it. A must is the additional 1000 yen "tea lounge pass" which grants you free access to fancy teas, coffee, and sweets in the lobby during your stay. You can come and go as you please AND you can use the pass 5pm-7pm for a wine and cocktails Happy Hour!! I enjoyed that part too much. No complaints and no regrets!

The bad stuff: This place is not convenient to visit Sendai. Public transport is extremely infrequent and expensive (cost ¥620yen altogether one way from Sendai station to the hotel). The hotel shuttle bus is running infrequently, which is not ideal to go back and forth between Sendai station and the hotel. Also, location to pick up the bus is hard to find. We couldn't find the bus stop for the hotel bus from Izumi Chou station and had to take the taxi to the hotel instead. The good stuff: the hotel itself is nice, the staff try hard to make you feel welcomed. Rooms are of decent size. It is next to the Izumi outlet mall with some good selections and Tapio shopping mall. Mind you after 8pm, it's pretty dead there. Overall, this hotel is good for a weekend getaway. I wont stay here again as it is not convenient to get around without the car.

Great resort hotel near Sendai City! Stayed here during biz trip in Sendai. Such a lovely place. It is located in Izumi Park Town which has outlet stores as well. Surrounding environment is so quiet and peaceful. Stayed at Luxury Twin room which has great view of Garden. Enjoyed the cool wind from the terrace window. Breakfast restaurant was the best part of the stay. You can also enjoy your breakfast at the table beside of the garden. It was great great breakfast experience. So peaceful. I have almost forgot that I am in Sendai, the big city in Tohoku area.
