★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The visitors from abroad who would like to enjoy shopping in Nagoya may visit Nagoya station or Sakae. But this is another truly recommended place for shopping or just hanging around in Nagoya.
Not so many shops compared to both, but lots of greens, cafés, a middle sized department store, which is Mitsukoshi is nearby, and there is the Higashiyama zoo and botanical garden very close.
From Nagoya station or Sakae, subway is the easiest way to go. The exit is pretty close. About thirty minutes from Sakae. But they accept duty free or not, please refer to Google.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet nice street to shop for daily products. I noticed there is a Muji store. Also there is a very good sushi restaurant. Overall, I think this place is suitable for a family day-out without many worries about convenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A chic place to visit with Mitsukoshi department store nearby. Food court is similar to what you would find in Japanese shopping centre but I like Aloha Table (Hawaii), better service than usual and Starbucks although crowded is nicer than other locations.
