★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都方面のJR唯一の乗り継ぎ駅、に騙されないよう注意してください。
この駅には各停しか停まりませんので前の駅での各停乗換が必須=時間ロス（20分ほど）が膨大です。
丹波橋からの近鉄乗り換えが京都駅へ行く正しいルートです。
夜になると乗り換え改札も閉鎖され、階段をいくつも乗り越えて移動しなければなりません。不便きわまりない駅です。
