o	odm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 琵琶湖周辺には、琵琶湖の水が入り込んだ池のような内湖があちこちで見られます。堅田内湖もその一つで、１９９０年頃まで、淡水真珠の養殖が盛んに行われていました。水面に出ている柵はその当時の養殖棚の名残です。堅田内湖は、古くは地元の人に『かや池』と呼ばれ、フナやボテジャコの良い釣り場として親しまれていました。現在はバスなどの外来種が増えたことや、周辺の住宅化が顕著な事からか、在来魚が少なくなり、釣り人の姿はあまり見かけなくなりました。以前のように釣りが楽しめる環境が戻ることを願っています。 Around Lake Biwa, you can see pond-like inner lakes filled with the water of Lake Biwa. Nowadays, the number of alien species such as bass has increased, and the number of native fish has decreased, probably because of the remarkable housing in the surrounding area, and the number of anglers is rarely seen.
