でも近くに本当に店がないのでトイレに行きたくなったり、なにか食べたくなっても買いに行けません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 宇野線開通から29年後の1939年に当時の都窪郡妹尾町に設置。
四国方面からこの駅に近づくと、手前で複線が終わり単線に戻る。
それはこの駅に来れば分かるが、目の前に墓地があり複線に出来る土地がない。
そのため瀬戸大橋線の区間では唯一の棒線駅である（宇野線では常山駅もある）。
当然ながら普通列車しか停止しない。
この駅は他の同名駅（和歌山県の箕島駅、静岡県の三島駅）との区別のため旧国の備中を冠している。
岡山市内なのになぜ備前ではなく備中なのかであるが、それは名前の通りかつては備中国都宇郡箕島村だったから。
この辺りの宇野線は備前国と備中国の国境付近に線路が敷かれている。
ここから下りの茶屋町駅までは備中国でその先は瀬戸大橋線・宇野線どちらも備前国、上りの駅は全て備前国である（妹尾の町は備中だが、駅は備前）。
Installed in 1939, 29 years after the opening of the Uno Line, in Senoo-cho, Tsukubo-gun at that time.
When approaching this station from the direction of Shikoku, the double track ends in front and returns to the single track.
You can see that when you come to this station, but there is a graveyard in front of you and there is no land that can be double-tracked.
Therefore, it is the only bar line station in the section of the Seto Ohashi line (there is also Tsuneyama station on the Uno line).
Of course, only regular trains stop.
This station bears the old country's Bichu to distinguish it from other stations of the same name (Minoshima Station in Wakayama Prefecture, Mishima Station in Shizuoka Prefecture).
The reason why it is in Bizen instead of Bizen even though it is in Okayama city is because, as the name suggests, it used to be Mishima-mura, Tsuu-gun, Btsutyuu.
The Uno Line around here is laid near the border between Bizen Province and Bitchū.
From here to Chayamachi Station is Bizen Province, and beyond that is Bizen Province on both the Seto Ohashi Line and Uno Line, and all the stations on the uphill are Bizen Province (Seno Town is Bizen, but the station is Bizen).

無人駅でトイレはありません。
How did you come to set up a station here? I don't think there are many people who use it.
