★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 保安寺は、翁轉和尚（慶長2年1597年寂）が開山となり創建、八丁堀より当地へ移転したといわれています。境内には可愛い池もあります。
お寺は高台に建つことが多いですが、このお寺は二本榎通りから参道を下った窪地にあります。この50メートルばかりの緑豊かな階段の風情が素晴らしく、古い街灯、赤茶けた手摺、脇に建つ歯科医院の和洋折衷の建物などが色を添えています。
向かいにはマンションが建設中でしたが、どうか景観を壊さない外観にしてほしいものですね。
It is said that Hoanji Temple was founded by Kazuhisa Okina (Keicho 2nd year, 1597, Jaku) and moved to the area from Hatchobori. There is also a cute pond in the precincts.
Temples are often built on hills, but this temple is located in a depression down the approach from Nihonenoki-dori. The atmosphere of this 50-meter lush staircase is wonderful, and the old street lights, reddish-brown handrails, and the Japanese-Western eclectic building of the dental clinic on the side add color.
An apartment was under construction across the street, but I would like it to have an appearance that does not destroy the landscape.
