★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もの静かなお寺です。本堂に吊り下げられた小さな提灯(「奉迎」と書かれています)が可愛らしかったです。また境内には「一切経」と銘刻された石塔があるのですが、基礎部分があるばかりでその他の部分は無くなってしまったようです。
It is a quiet temple. The small lanterns hung in the main hall (written as "hospitality") were cute. In addition, there is a stone pagoda inscribed as "All Sutra" in the precincts, but it seems that only the foundation part has disappeared and the other parts have disappeared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慶応元年（1865年）にプロイセン領事のフォン・ブラントの江戸滞在場所となった寺院で、本堂は弘化年間（1845〜1848）の火事の後に再建されたものだそうです。幕末に外国公館として使われていた建物の現存例としては、唯一のものだとか。
In the first year of Keio (1865), Consul von Brandt of Prussian stayed in Edo, and the main hall was rebuilt after the fire during the Koka period (1845-1948). It is the only existing example of a building that was used as a foreign diplomatic mission at the end of the Edo period.
