★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土宗寺院の願生寺は、槃舟山易往院と号します。願生寺は、證蓮社誠誉上人尋西和和尚（寛永九壬申年三月十日寂）が開山となり、慶長7年（1602）に創建したといいます。江戸時代、門前には重量物の運搬をするための牛屋が建ち並んでおり、牛屋7軒で牛の霊を祀った牛供養塔が境内に残されています。
The Jodo sect temple, Gansei-ji, is called Makifuneyama Yukiin. It is said that Gansei-ji was built in 1602, when the mountain was opened by Kazuhisa Hironishi, an honorary superior of the Rensha Shrine (March 10, Kanei 9th year of the monkey). In the Edo period, cow shops for transporting heavy goods were lined up in front of the gate, and seven cow shops have a cow memorial tower dedicated to the spirit of cows.
