★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この日吉公園は、すぐ近く北西の県民会館脇「日吉町1号公園」と徒歩で300ｍも離れていない公園で、名前も似ていますので近隣に住んでいる方々以外だと、勘違いをされている人も多そうですが、日吉公園は広さが小さめで約１/４位の2,800㎡で街区公園になります。
何年か前にトイレが多機能型になり、赤ちゃんのオムツ替えや車イス対応にもなり、旧和式の「日吉町１号公園」に比べ近代的で障害者の方や赤ちゃん連れの家族にも優しい公園になってます。
