M	M Nemo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR前橋駅北口から徒歩10分程度の前橋市の中心地にある前橋市の公立美術館。西友リヴィン前橋店WALK館の建物をコンバージョンしたもので、展示スペースは1階と地下1階。地下1階の展示スペースはそこそこ広く、地下1階から1階への吹き抜けがある。この吹き抜けは、おそらく商業施設のときのエスカレーター跡じゃないだろうか。開館は2013年10月。館長は東京藝術大学大学院国際芸術創造研究科准教授の住友文彦氏。建物のリニューアルについては、水谷俊博氏が担当している。割ととんがった企画展示が多く、例えば2018年10月開催の「岡本太郎と『今日の芸術』絵はすべて人の創るもの」は岡本太郎の執筆した美術の啓蒙書にしてベストセラー「今日の芸術」を読み解き、岡本太郎を再評価しようとするものでした。まあ、高崎から両毛線で移動しなければならない前橋なので、なかなか行きにくいのですが、企画によっては行く価値が、あると思います。 A public art museum in Maebashi City, located in the center of Maebashi City, about a 10-minute walk from the north exit of JR Maebashi Station. か	かにぱん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡本太郎展を見に行きました。建物内は不思議なつくりになっていて楽しめました。建物の上は駐車場になっていてかなりの台数が駐車出来ますが、道路からほぼ直角に曲がってすぐ発券機があるため、下壁にぶつからないようギリギリまで近づきながら注意してゆっくり曲がらないと発券機のボタンが押せる位置に行けないので運転が苦手な人は要注意です。そのせいもあってか建物周辺がどの方向も大渋滞が起きているのをよく見かけます。入り口の発券機をあと３メートル程度先に設ければもう少し渋滞が緩和されると思うのですが……。 I went to see the Taro Okamoto exhibition. Because of that, I often see heavy traffic around the building in every direction. I think that the traffic congestion will be alleviated if the ticket issuing machine at the entrance is installed about 3 meters away.
