There is a parking lot (quite large), and there is a little distance from the parking lot to the torii gate and the hall of worship, but the left and right sides of the road are surrounded by trees, and it feels like you are heading for the hall of worship through a tunnel of trees. I felt very comfortable. On the day of the worship, the parishioners were making a Kaya ring of the Natsukoshi Oharae style. I was lucky to see a rare sight.

In the Muromachi period paintings depicting our company, it is said that there are torii gates on all four sides of Hachimachi. Surrounded by rivers, it is a key point for water transportation, and until the middle of the Meiji era, there was a pier called "Kawaihama" and there seemed to be a market.
It's a little lonely that it doesn't look like that, but the long-standing shrines look beautiful even from a distance. The precincts are kept quiet.

Hirose Shrine, which enshrines the god of water, is located at the confluence of the eight rivers of Tomio, Saho, Hase, Temple, Asuka, Soga, Katsuragi, and Takada that flow through the Nara Basin.
In 89 BC, a nearby village chief was told by the dragon god that he would "leave the swamp of this land," and the swamp became land overnight, and a tachibana tree grew there. It seems that the beginning was when Emperor Sujin, who heard that, ordered the shrine to be built.
Water is essential for making grains. Therefore, the deities that are being worshiped are equated with the gods of Wakaukano Mikoto, Ise Jingu Geku, and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine.
After that, Emperor Tenmu thought, "If you control the water and the wind, the world will be safe," so he began to worship as a pair of companies with Tatsuta Taisha, which is dedicated to the god of the wind, on the west side of the Yamato River.
One of the events of the Great Memorial Festival that began in 675 during the Emperor Tenmu era. The "Sanding Festival" is famous.
Note: A parishioner works on rice planting in a place surrounded by shimenawa. A festival in which children sprinkle sand violently there. Sand is like water or rain, and it has a good harvest of five grains, and water has a meaning of purification, so it has an event to prevent evil.

It is the shrine of Nara 18th, the way of pilgrimage to the Shinto and Buddhist sacred sites. Located at the confluence of the rivers, Saho, Hatsuse, Asuka, Soga, Katsuragi, and Takada rivers that flow through the Nara Basin, it is the guardian deity of water that prevents flooding. There seems to be.

This is deeply worshiped as a water god against the wind god of Tatsuta Taisha Shrine.
The forest of guardians is wide, and you can walk from the first torii gate to the main shrine.
The shrine itself is not bad, but the pricing of the gifts is strange.
Of the 22 shrines, Hirose Shrine is the middle seven.
However, Hirose Taisha is more expensive than the gifts given by Kasuga Taisha, which is one of the top seven companies.
For example, in the comparison of Hamaya (small), which is the gift of the first shrine, it is 1500 yen for Hirose Taisha Shrine and 1500 yen for Kasuga Taisha Shrine. It is a translation.
Hamaya (small) of Tatsuta Taisha Shrine, which is famous for the wind god that is paired with Suijin in the company's rank, costs 1000 yen, how! There is a difference of 1500 yen.
I don't know if the priest is clinging or the financial situation of the shrine is not so good, but it is a good example to understand that God is equal to everyone and that the problem depends on the person who manages it and the consciousness of the priest.
By the way, traffic safety stickers are also unusually high compared to other companies.
For reference, Kasuga Taisha is 500 yen, Tatsuta Taisha is 300 yen, and Hirose Taisha is 1000 yen or more.
I have seen many Akogi temples, but this was the first time for Akogi shrine.

Hirose Taisha Shrine is one of seven out of twenty-two companies. Free parking is on the right side of Ichino Torii. The distance from the first torii gate to the hall of worship is about 2 to 300 meters, and it is very quiet and refreshing. Sakura was in full bloom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are cycling or walking along the river path, pop-in and check this complex out. It can be easily missed as it is camouflaged by trees.
