It seems that the autumn leaves are beautiful in the fall. The priest was saying.

I went there when the sun went down, but the autumn leaves behind the main shrine were beautifully dyed red. It was good because there were some autumn leaves around.

I heard that it was the last place in Saigyo and visited it. Normally, it was supposed to be the time when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, but this year was so early that Yoshino cherry trees and Kaido cherry blossoms were leaf cherry blossoms. I think it will be wonderful again when the leaves are colored. After climbing a little mountain, there was a tomb of Saigyo. Various cherry blossoms were in bloom on the mountain. It will be a little hike, but you can spend a quiet time in the rich nature.

I went to see the autumn leaves in the evening. The atmosphere was less calm than I expected. The 500m "Sakurayama Promenade" at the back of Hirokawadera is recommended because the road is well maintained and it is easy to walk.

The land of the end of Saigyo Hoshi. You can feel the colors of cherry blossoms in spring, green leaves in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn. Saigyo "Hopefully, under the flowers, I will die in the spring, that Kisaragi's time of Mochizuki." The phrase fits perfectly. The route to Saikouan is quaint, and it is good to visit during the autumn sunset. Thousands of cherry blossoms in the mountains are said to have been carefully planted by Jiun, who longs for Saigyo, according to Saigyo's will. In addition, Jiun was discovered in the tomb of Saigyo, and Jiun is still sleeping beside it. It seems that the thoughts of Saigyo and Jiun, who think of Saigyo, surround the mountain. You can even see the sea of Akashi on a sunny day, as you can see in the song of Jiun, who said that he spent his time watching Akashi Suma. There is also a parking lot, so it's best to visit the mountain and the Saigyo Memorial Museum.

Last time I enjoyed the cherry blossoms in spring, but this time I visited to see the autumn leaves. Saigyo Hoshi was born in a wealthy samurai family called Fujiwara no Kamatari, and seems to have looked good. His father died early, and at the age of 17, he succeeded him as Lieutenant Bei (Imperial guard) and was elected as a samurai on the north side (unlike ordinary samurai) who guarded the Gosho. It is said that he was a master of Yabusame and a master of Kemari. Good-looking guys in both Bunbu and Budo! !! Although a glorious future was promised, Saigyo abandoned his career and left home at the young age of 22. The reasons for this are that the desire for relief from the Buddha has grown, that a friend has died suddenly and that he has realized the impermanence of his life, that he is disappointed with the political dispute over the succession of the throne, that his personality is weak, and that he is with a noble woman. It has been reported in various ways as a broken heart. In the final story, he signed an overnight contract with Machikenmonin (the mother of Emperor Sutoku), whom he became friends with at singing parties. However, there is also a story that she was told to separate from her because she was afraid that the relationship between the two would be broken, and after disappointment, she parted from her wife and child and entered Buddhism! Personally, I think the last episode is interesting. The parking lot is divided into 4 places and all are free, but you can enjoy flowers such as cherry blossoms as you go further. The precincts are full of calm atmosphere. A building where you can feel the history stands quietly. If you go to the back, there is a road to the top of the mountain. Walk the stone steps. There was a building labeled Saigyoudo. Further on the mountain road, I finally came to a small square. There was a tomb of Saigyo Houshi. Furthermore, there is a road leading to the mountain, and when you climb it, the cherry blossoms are beautiful on the opposite mountain and on the mountain you are climbing. These cherry blossoms are 1000 cherry blossoms planted for Saigyo Hoshi. However, the climbing road became narrower and narrower, and when I suddenly noticed, the road at my feet was barely wide enough for each person to walk. There are no handrails, and if you make a mistake, you'll be upside down to the bottom of the valley! When I look down This is Akan. Dangerous. It is not a place for the elderly to enjoy alone. While checking your feet, go down slowly.
