I learned that this shrine has a main shrine in the back of a long and narrow approach, and is a historical shrine that enshrines Minamoto no Yoshiie, who was founded in the Heian period. The dumpling shop at the entrance appeared in the novel Asami Mitsuhiko series, and the old burial mound in Tokyo was behind the main shrine.

I came here for my uncle's wedding half a century ago. Just why at the shrine? I remember thinking as a child. It was a pleasant time slip tonight.

A shrine that appears in a certain drama. If you walk along the long approach, you will find a shrine. The autumn leaves were very beautiful! There was an aunt who was picking up ginkgo nuts.

A shrine in the place where Toshima's castle and gunga, one of the Bando Heishi who once ruled Toshima-gun including this area, were located. The three brothers, Minamoto no Yoshiie, Minamoto no Yoshitsuna, and Minamoto no Yoshimitsu, the sons of Minamoto no Yoriyoshi, who was the second builder of Kawachi Genji, are enshrined as gods. It seems that the three brothers stayed at Toshima's castle on their way home after the conquest of Oshu, and gave their armor as a sign of gratitude. It seems that the beginning of this shrine was that Taro Toyoshima, who was the lord at that time, buried the armor and built a shrine, protecting the three brothers and worshiping them as gods. By the way, of the three brothers, the descendants of the eldest son Minamoto no Yoshiie later became the Shogunate of the Kamakura Shogunate (up to the third generation), and Mr. Ashikaga of the branch family became the Shogunate of the Muromachi Shogunate. The descendants of the third son, Minamoto no Yoshimitsu, are Takeda, who is famous for Takeda Nobuyoshi and Takeda Shingen, and other clans such as Satake and Ogasawara. Mr. Toshima lost his position as a daimyo because he lost the war during the Warring States period, but it seems that he was able to survive as a samurai until the end of the Tokugawa shogunate in the Edo Shogunate as a successor to the branch family. The shrine seems to have survived even after Mr. Toshima lost his position as a lord, but in the Edo period, a person named Sadahisa Yamakawa Castle was promoted to the position of a school inspection after worshiping, and Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu Even when he got sick, he recovered when he worshiped again, so the shrine was restored as a sign of gratitude, and the shogunate gave him a red stamp of fifty stones. If it weren't for these events, the shrine might not have survived by this time, and the buried armor might have been dug up and exhibited in a museum somewhere. Most of the left and right sides of the approach are operated as monthly parking lots, so it is a pity that the area near the hall of worship is not sacred. If I go there for the first time in a long time, a nursery school will be newly established in a part of the approach, so I wonder if I will start a nursery school business. The Goshuin was not written directly due to the influence of the new corona vortex (as of March 11, 4th year of Reiwa), and it was only available for writing. In addition, I would like you to visit the shrine and have a red stamp written directly at that time.
