S	S W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御府内八十八ヶ所霊場の札所です。御朱印を頂きに参拝しました。御朱印は書き置きではありません。ご自宅兼寺務所の呼び鈴を押して御朱印をお願いすると、住所氏名の記入と郵送代を含めた500円のお納めをお願いされました。後に手持ちの御朱印帳のサイズに合わせて書いてくださった御朱印をお送りくださいます。少し時間が掛かりますと仰られた通り、半月程到着まで掛かりました。境内は緑に溢れとても居心地がいいです。創建年代は不明だそうですが、14世紀の板碑が多くあり、鎌倉後期から南北朝期迄は遡れるようです。本堂正面には平安後期作の阿弥陀如来像があり、江戸時代は江戸六阿弥陀詣の第三番目札所としても栄えました。ちなみにその阿弥陀如来像の右手に御本尊の不動明王像があり、ある時盗賊が寺内に入り込み盗みを働こうとしたところ、この不動明王像の前で足が動かなくなり捕まったという逸話があります。以来この不動明王像は「足止め不動」として信仰されたそうです。境内では写真撮影等禁止されておりますのでお気をつけください。 It is a ticket office of 88 places in Gofunai. It is said that the date of its foundation is unknown, but there are many itabi monuments in the 14th century, and it seems that it can be traced back from the late Kamakura period to the Nanbokucho period. In front of the main hall, there is a statue of Amida Nyorai from the late Heian period, which prospered as the third temple of the Edo Roku Amida pilgrimage during the Edo period. By the way, there is a statue of Fudo Myo, the principal idol, on the right side of the statue of Amida Nyorai, and there is an anecdote that a thief entered the temple and tried to steal, but his legs got stuck in front of this statue of Fudo Myo. Since then, this statue of Fudo Myo has been worshiped as "stuck immovable". Please note that photography is prohibited in the precincts.
