★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 目の前の須川湖は湖と言うには些か小さいながらも綺麗で豊かな水をたたえ、周辺の散策路も程よく整備されていて散歩にはうってつけ。ただしトイレ(期間限定)以外ホントに何もないので軽食くらいは予め用意しておいた方が良い。
The lake in front of the lake is small but beautiful and full of water, and the surrounding walkways are well maintained. However, it is better to prepare in advance about snacks, as there is nothing really in it other than the toilet (limited time).

キャンプ場併設しているので夏場はいいですね

反対派の栗駒山荘が見える側の駐車場も10台弱位は駐車出来る。時々大型観光バスも駐車するので、ちょっと狭い感じがするが、大型観光バスが駐車する際は小安挟の観光案内の担当者(現地の方)が、観光バス駐車の為にバスが来るのを待っていて、ちゃん案内しているのは、他の一般客にとってはありがたい‼️
There are less than 10 parking lots facing the lake,
A little less than 10 cars can be parked in the parking lot on the side where you can see the opposition Kurikoma Sanso. Sometimes a large tour bus is parked, so it feels a bit narrow, but when the large tour bus is parked, the person in charge of tourist information (local people) in Koyasu is waiting for the bus to come to park the tour bus. Waiting and guiding you is thankful for other general customers! ️

オススメはやはり、新緑と紅葉の時期です。
売店はありませんが、トイレがあるため、ドライブの休憩に是非どうぞ。

2021.10.14 I stopped by when I went to Kurikoma Sanso. Satisfied just by looking at it. There is a toilet. Impressed by the autumn leaves reflected on the surface of the lake!
