★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 珍しい三つ鳥居が見られ、元伊勢とも呼ばれる。大神大社の摂社でもある。参道から西に見える二上山もこれまた趣深い。車で近くまでは行きつきにくいように思うので、山辺の道を天気の良い日に歩くかサイクリングが最高で最適。鳥居前の茶店でいただくおしるこも見逃せない。
A rare three torii gate can be seen, also known as Moto Ise. It is also a shrine of Oomiwa Shrine. Mt. Nijo, which can be seen to the west from the approach, is also quaint. I don't think it's easy to get close by car, so it's best to walk or cycle on the mountainside roads on sunny days. Don't miss the shiruko served at the teahouse in front of the torii.

巻向の駅からも２ｋｍくらいで行けます。山之辺の道を通って大神神社まで抜け三輪駅から電車に乗れるのでいい散歩にもなりますね。

It is about 2km from Makimuku station. You can take a train from Miwa Station through the Yamanobe road to Oomiwa Shrine, so it's a good walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥居が鳥居では無く、結界を示す様な不思議な感じが
第一印象です。
天照大神を祀っていますが、拝殿や神殿は無く天皇陵の様な背後にある山そのものが御神体であるかの様な非常に印象に残った神社です。印象だけでなく柔らかい力強さを感じれます。
三つの鳥居も印象的ですが、その先に臨む二上山の景色も美しく大神神社、石上神宮、檜原大神の並びや向いている方向等、良く考えられて創造されている気がしました。

This is my first impression.
Although it enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, there are no worship halls or temples, and the mountain itself behind it, like the tomb of the Emperor, is a very impressive shrine. You can feel not only the impression but also the soft strength.
The three torii gates are also impressive, but the scenery of Mt. Nijo in front of them is beautiful, and I feel that the rows and directions of Oomiwa Shrine, Isonokami Shrine, and Hibara Okami are well thought out and created.
