道を挟んで向かいの畑の傍らには“東山崎”と地名が刻まれた道標もありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 羽鳥駅から400メートルほど南西。狭い道路の曲がり角に，火の見櫓に向かって鳥居と祠が鎮座していらっしゃいます。御由緒も御祭神さえ分かりませんでしたが，きっと火除け火伏せの神様かなぁと勝手に思ってみました。なにせ火の見櫓の側ですため。
