歴史:鎌倉末期の正中元年(1324)、北条雅時の家臣・加藤安俊が築城した城。後醍醐天皇の代には、尾張・三河国境を示す「傍示(ほうじ)」が建てられ、一帯は傍示本と呼ばれるようになった。天文年間(1532～1555)までは加藤家の居城であったが、その後岩崎丹羽家の勢力下となる。小牧・長久手合戦の際、傍示本城主・丹羽氏重は、岩崎城主の兄・氏次が小牧山へ出陣したため岩崎城の守備に就き、岡崎攻略隊の池田勢・森勢と交戦して討ち死にする。合戦後、信長から追放されていた父・氏勝が隠居城として在城していたが、慶長五年(1600)、丹羽家は伊保城に転封となり廃城した。現在:傍示本公民館前に石碑が建っているものの､城の遺構は何もない。傾斜がある東側から観ると、それなりには見える。マニア向けの城跡だと思う。

History: Masatoki Hojo, the first year of the middle of the Kamakura period (1324) A castle built by Yasutoshi Kato, a vassal of the castle. In the era of Emperor Go-Daigo, a "hoji" was built to indicate the border between Owari and Mikawa, and the area became known as a side book. It was the residence of the Kato family until the astronomical year (1532-1555), but after that it became under the influence of the Iwasaki Niwa family. During the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute, the lord of the sidewalk, Mr. Niwa, took up the defense of Iwasaki Castle because his brother, Mr. Iwasaki, went to Mt. do. After the battle, his father, Ujikatsu, who had been exiled from Nobunaga, was in the castle as a retired castle, but in 1600, the Niwa family was transferred to Iho Castle and abandoned. Present: There is a stone monument in front of the Hojimoto Community Center, but there are no remains of the castle. Seen from the eastern side with a slope, it looks like it is. I think it's a castle ruin for enthusiasts.
