大正11年(1922)に建てられた深谷商業高校の旧校舎で、昭和40年(1965)まで使用されていました。資料によると埼玉県内で唯一、完全な形で残るフレンチ・ルネサンス様式の木造校舎で、国の登録有形文化財になっています。建物は大きくて淡い色合いが素晴らしく品の良さを感じます。
Fukaya Commercial High School Memorial Hall
It was the old school building of Fukaya Commercial High School built in 1922, and was used until 1965. According to the materials, it is the only French Renaissance-style wooden school building in Saitama Prefecture that remains in perfect shape, and is a nationally registered tangible cultural property. The building is big and the pale colors are wonderful and I feel the elegance.
