★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こんな裏の方の小さな古墳なのに何故と言うくらい綺麗にされています。残念なのはだいぶ削られてしまっていることですね。
Though it is such a small tumulus on the back, it is so beautiful as to say why. It's a shame that it's been cut a lot.

もとはホタテ型だったらしいですが、原型からはかなり変わってる模様。
でもきれいに整備されていてサイクリングの休憩には最適です。
I recommend you go to the town office.
Originally it seems that it was a scalloped type, but it seems to be quite different from the prototype.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さな円墳になっていますが、本来は帆立貝式古墳(円墳に小さな四角い突き出しがある古墳)でした。出土した埴輪は東京国立博物館に収蔵されていて、私のお気に入りの埴輪の一つです。ここは私にとってのパワースポットです。
It is a small circular mound, but it was originally a scallop shell tumulus (an old tomb with a small square protrusion in a circular mound). The clay was excavated in the Tokyo National Museum and it is one of my favorite clay rings. This is my power spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大泉文化むらでの群馬古墳カード第3弾の配布がはじまっており、ここがその意匠だったので来てみました。
入口は案内板がなかったら正直わかりませんでした。
自動車の場合、入口の脇にある公民館の駐車場に停めるよう指示があります。下手に道をふさいだりしないので安心して見学できますね。
古墳は段上になっているのが特徴的で、綺麗に芝生整備されていますが上に乗れるようになっています。高いところに立てて気分はよいですが、周辺は宅地に囲まれていることもあり配慮の上で楽しみましょう。

In the case of a car, you will be instructed to park in the parking lot of the public hall next to the entrance. You can visit with confidence because it doesn't block the road badly.
The characteristic of the tumulus is that it is on a step, and although the lawn is well maintained, it is possible to ride on it. It feels good to stand on a high place, but since the surrounding area is surrounded by residential land, let's enjoy it with consideration.
