★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国宝大崎八幡宮の社殿、権現造（石の間造）の典型で、入母屋造で本殿・石の間・拝殿が一体となっています。石の間の格天井には、多数の草花や薬草が描かれています。内外とも漆塗・胡粉下地に彩色を施し、彫刻・金具に飾られ、絢爛たる雰囲気を表しています。
It is a typical example of the Gongen structure (Ishima structure) of the national treasure Osaki Hachimangu Shrine. A large number of flowers and medicinal plants are drawn on the magnificent ceiling between the stones. The interior and exterior are painted with lacquer and gourd ground, and decorated with sculptures and metal fittings to create a gorgeous atmosphere.
