★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建時期は不明ですが、１６９８年の古図に拝殿前西側に記載されていることから、それ以前と推定されます。８月１日に太元社例祭が執り行われ毎年、厨子の御扉が開かれ、御神像としてお祀りされている「太元帥明王」を年に一度の機会となりますが拝観できる日になりました。太元帥明王は邪鬼を懲らしめ、福を招く神として尊崇され仙台五代藩主伊達吉村公が武運長久と子孫繁栄を祈念し観請したことが記されています。是非ともお参りしてください。
