★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国宝大崎八幡宮の社殿。手前の拝殿と奥の本殿を「石の間」で繋いで1棟とした、「権現造」形式の社殿である。拝殿は桁行（正面）7間、梁間（側面）3間、入母屋造で、正面には千鳥破風を見せ、唐破風造の向拝が付く。初詣などで見ることができるのはこの建物である。
National treasure Osaki Hachimangu shrine. It is a "gongenzo" style shrine that connects the front worship hall and the main shrine in the back with "stone spaces". The hall of worship is 7 rows of girders (front), 3 of beams (sides), and an Immabaya structure. It is this building that you can see in Hatsumi.

御社殿(本殿・石の間・拝殿)が国宝です。
境内には鶏(チャボ)が自由に放し飼いされています。
伊勢神宮などにも鶏が放し飼いされていますが、神社にいる鶏は神の使いとされ、鳥居もニワトリ?の “ とまり木 ” が語源とされています。
