C	Caidan Eavenson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic! Firstly I recommend setting reservations but we only had to wait around 5 mins for three people without setting them. The atmosphere is great, a more traditional Japanese setting where shoes are takin off at the front with the dining area upstairs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and had servers who spoke English very well. Now let’s get to the food! As an American living in a food desert it can be hard to find meat that is really high quality, so this beef and pork completely blew me away. The Kobe beef fat melts on your tongue as you chew, I’ve never had anything quite like it. Now it is a bit pricy but it matched the quality 100%. We ordered the super deluxe plate and extra Kobe beef, a couple beers, cocktails, and an amazingly smooth local sake for around 20,000 yen total (around $190 USD) and it was enough to stuff a group of 3 very full. You could definitely go with cheaper options and still have a great meal (for something this good in the US you would probably pay double). Also the kimchi and soy sauce are very high quality and tasty. My favorite dinning experience in Kyoto so far :)

I had the manager's recommended 5 cuts, a yuzu-hai and, boom! , What a killer combo! The meats were succulent and best I had. Even the accompanying vegetables were great. The restaurant is considered high-class but it was really worth the money as I would have paid more than double where I'm from. Superb meal, great ambience, unforgettable.

Please do not order set course cause meat grade is diffrent. Shop provides many parts of beef aswell as different cut like, slice, thin slice for suki, steak cut or cubic cut. Pork & chicken are also available.There are also many choices of offal aswell but i didnt have a chance to try. I have tried many Yakiniku places . But this place is superb!
