★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山の中にひっそりとあります。場所はわかりにくいかも知れません。小さな看板が道沿いに立ててはありますが。東白川村で1番大きな滝です。名前の由来になっている五介について思いを馳せるのもいいかも。
It's quietly in the mountains. The location may be confusing. There is a small signboard along the road. It is the largest waterfall in Higashishirakawa Village. It may be good to think about Gosuke, the origin of the name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遊歩道がしっかりしていて、ゆっくり散歩するには良いところですが、さほど広いわけではないし、アップダウンはあるので、高齢者には向きません。
The promenade is solid and a good place to take a leisurely walk, but it's not very wide and there are ups and downs, so it's not suitable for the elderly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道中は道も広く駐車場もあって入口もわかりやすいです。駐車場から階段を下りて３分くらいで滝前に出ます。期待せずに行きましたが思ったよりも大きな滝でした。
The road is wide and there is a parking lot along the way, so the entrance is easy to understand. From the parking lot, go down the stairs and you will reach the waterfall in about 3 minutes. I went without expecting it, but it was a bigger waterfall than I expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 落差も少ないので迫力がイマイチですが、訪れる人も少ないので静かでゆったりとした時間を楽しめました。
The head is small, so the power is not good, but since there are few visitors, I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道路沿いに４～５台停められる駐車場が有り、数分で滝まで行くことができます。滝までの遊歩道は整備が行き届いており、途中、東屋と展望台が常設されています。滝を間近で観ることが出来るので、意外に迫力有ります。滝下まで降りることもでき、滝前に橋が掛かっているので対岸からも眺めることができます。人の往来も無く、独り占めでした。静かな場所でゆっくり寛ぐことができます。
There is a parking lot along the road where 4 to 5 cars can be parked, and you can reach the waterfall in a few minutes. The promenade to the waterfall is well maintained, and an eastern house and an observatory are permanently installed along the way. You can see the waterfall up close, so it's surprisingly powerful. You can also go down to the bottom of the waterfall, and you can see it from the opposite bank because there is a bridge in front of the waterfall. There was no traffic and it was all to myself. You can relax in a quiet place.
