t	tomoko k (unami) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ リサーチ不足で展望台まで車で行けると思い、竜神峡の雲海目当てで向かいました。雨と霧で視界が悪い上、台風19号と大雨の影響で、多くの木々が折れ大量の枯れ葉が落ち、時には大きめの石が転がってる状態でした。第2駐車場の存在に気付かず、登り続ける途中、倒木の撤去作業をされてる方々に、先の通行を確認し進んでみましたが、道幅が狭く、落ち葉で車のタイヤが空回りし、かなり怖かったです。砂利道になり、徒歩で行くという判断が出来ず、諦めて引き返しました。楽して絶景は見られない様ですね… いつかリベンジしたいです。 (2019/10/29) I think I can drive to the observatory due to lack of research, I headed for the sea of clouds in Ryujinkyo. h	haru ao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 赤岩展望台、竜神大吊橋を上から眺めることのできる場所。ほぼ人はいないので、ゆっくりできる。竜神大吊橋から遊歩道を歩いても行くことができるが、赤岩集落の奥にあるスペースに車を止めて歩くと、１０分ほどでたどり着くことができる。ただし、県道３３号から赤岩集落までの道はかなり狭いので運転に自信のない方にはお勧めしない。 A place where you can see the Akaiwa Observatory and the Ryujin Large Suspension Bridge from above. み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道33号常陸太田大子線から案内もなにもない西側の狭い坂道へ。本宮神社鳥居を左に見つつ坂を上って南へと折れます。対向車を心配しながら（いや、カブですので心配なしですが）延々と約15分ほどクネクネ曲がりくねった狭い道路を登り詰めた先が小さな赤岩集落、道路の突き当りが少し広くなっていて、ここが駐車場です。突き当りから徒歩で左手の坂を上って土の山径へ。山中の踏み道を10分弱辿れば東屋風の赤岩展望台に到着します。竜神大吊橋を見る最高のポイント（ドローン除く）、いや、吊り橋がなかったとしても、展望台からは素晴らしい絶景を堪能することが出来ます。何を置いても是非訪れるべしと激奨したいところですが、観光客が集落に金を落とすわけではなし（竜神まんじゅうも赤岩サフレも売ってませんから）、逆に集落の生活道路に往来が妨げとなる方が心配ですので、配慮しつつそっと見学しましょう。 From Prefectural Road No. 33 Hitachi Ota Daiko Line to the narrow slope on the west side with no guidance.
