★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasted better than reviews may suggest. The place was well-kept and had extra seating available upstairs. Ordered the chicken katsu curry (Large). Would come again for the Gorilla theme.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, seemed to have a lot of locals eating there, the service wasn’t great but it was a great meal and a nice quick break from sightseeing all day.

Meat has adequete taste and quality. Their suasages are tasty too.
Portion is huge and you can ask for a second helping of cabbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tiny katsu curry spot on the main street of Akihabara. Can't miss it, has a giant Gorilla on the logo. Order at the machine, have a seat and wait for your food to come in 1-2 minutes. Usually long queues but people rotate quickly. It's an eat'n'go spot so don't loaf around for too long! The open kitchen is literally half a meter from you so you might leave smelling like a fried cutlet. You can get S to XL sized portions of rice with Japanese currry, ie sweet and savory not spicy, with/without pork/chicken/shrimp katsu or other meat. Free cold water to drink. Prices are from 700 to 1200 yen-ish depending on sides and stuff, the larger portions are LARGE, beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great curry place to visit, especially for those people who like to eat big portions. It's easy to order even as a foreigner, since they do it per vending machine and the prices are very reasonable. The Tonkatsu are not really the best I've eaten so far, but it was still enjoyable~ How about challenging your friends or family members by eating the biggest curry plate?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small little restaurant located in Akihabara, when you first come in, you will order the curry and customization through a machine first. There is abit of English that’ll make it easy to understand, but a worker will come and assist you if needed. After ordering, you will sit down and give your tickets to the workers for them to prepare your order in the opened kitchen.
The overall wait time, even though is busy wasn’t too long, average 15 mins for all 3 of our dishes to come. We ordered a medium which was pretty big, as there a good piece of katsu placed on top of a good portion of rice, topped with their curry. If you don’t think you can eat much, I recommend getting a small. The curry was very flavorful and had a slight spicy kick to it, however, I think making it a little sweet would’ve made it perfect. The katsu meat was tender, yet the skin was crispy and didn’t taste oily at all. You can also choose to just order rice with curry if you don’t want Katsu, however this place might not be vegetarian friendly as the curry does have bits of meat in it.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
