Delicious food. Awesome service. Place could be cleaner but thats part of the street food vibes. Prices are good too, spent less than 1 thousand Yen for these two plates.

Ah-mazing ramen!!! Very worth the visit! Cute, traditional place. Not a touristy place at all, but at least one employee spoke excellent English, so had zero issues communicating and making a choice. They have a special broth and they also sell the meat that goes in the ramen (in case you're looking for a 1kg loaf to take away ?).

For local feeling, the full shilling. Two old men at the hour of 15 and 30 man the stirrings of the soup, the creaking of the vegetables and the tumbling of the noodles. They press and massage the air that encloses the customers. The tsukemen was pretty tasty with some chunky, verbose pork pieces squeaking up at you out of the soup between swimming, eel-like slivers of menma. Kuramae anomaly.

Friendly staff and has an English menu. The prices are reasonable. A bowl of soy sauce ramen was 650 yen. It isn't the best tasting ramen I had but still delicious. This was a low-key place that caters to locals.

Very interesting ramen. Their house special has a very dark colored broth, which we expected to be rich and heavy. However, the flavors were light and refreshing for ramen. We also ordered a number 4, which was light in color but very hardy. The interior was very Showa-era Japan. Most of the seating is at the counters but there are around 3-4 tables that seat 4. At first one of he workers was a bit rude, but after some time he softened up. They also had this strange contraption inside that made sesame seed oil. I would definitely recommend this place.

This was hands down the best Tonkatsu Ramen we had. For refined ramen in Kuramae, there's no better place than the original branch of Genraku, it seems. Awesome food and a history lesson along with it all makes it the best experience! specialists in tonkotsu concoctions, the shoyu soup, cooked for a full three days, combines a Fatty pork taste with fresh vegetable aromas, which are best sampled in the joint's signature Gen Ramen. And if you feel this already greasy mixture still a little too light, try the extra-fatty Tokusei Ramen.

Ramen was good but rather standard compared to the vast amount of ramen shops in Tokyo. One surprising item was the bamboo shoots. They usually have a not so enjoyable aftertaste, but the ones offered at Genraku tasted really good. Also, in times of Corona, they keep doors open and guest do sit separated. I guess the walls between the seats at the counter are traditionally there, lucky for them.

Great ramen! Simple, soy sauce flavor but can be a little greasy, which is one of the local ramen addition loved and favored by almost all Japanese. It’s not that bad at all. It still tastes silky smooth with extra flavor! Well, try it if the opportunity presents. And you are not gonna get killed but just a little heavier. ? ✌️
