But if you are not home sick like those guys and you are more exposed to the Japanese level of service, prices and quality, don’t even bother. 7/11 will be much more worty of your time and your pocket.

Owner and staff very friendly, English speaking as well. I used to work at an authentic Cajun restaurant in California, plus grew up on Cajun food and I can say this is GOOD authentic Cajun food - to DIE FOR. Just look at the pics and descriptions for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Southern Cajun American food at this place just a few steps from the Miyajima JR station. The perfect place to stop at before or after a trip to Miyajima island. Ryan, the owner, is very friendly Japanese guy that grew up in Los Angeles so English was not a problem. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! It has a small menu but includes most of the favorites catfish, Poboys, gumbo, jambalaya. It’s a cute little place up about 20 stairs, it probably seats about 16 people. The food is yummy and you may run into Americans there as well. The owner is kind and open to suggestions, and he speaks perfect English. Best of all there are cocktails and the restaurant is located one block from the train station and one block from the ferry to Miyajima Island.
