★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 重要伝統的建造物群保存地区に選定されている赤岩集落から草津温泉方目に向かう途中で前を通りました。立ち寄って見たかったのですが、東京ナンバーの車で乗り付けて、狭いだろう閉鎖空間へ立ち入るのは時節柄遠慮しました。
 I passed in front of the Akaiwa village, which has been designated as an important traditional buildings preservation area, on the way to Kusatsu Onsen. I wanted to stop by and see it, but I refrained from getting in the car of Tokyo number plate and entering the closed space which would be narrow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 六合（くに）村小雨〔冬住みの里〕の前庭に芭蕉句碑が建っている。
原中や物にもつかず啼雲雀
寛政年間建立と伝わる古い碑。草津の布施医院から移したらしい。
六合村には芭蕉句碑があと２基ある。
① 六合村沼尾 多聞天（毘沙門天） 原中やものにもつかす啼く雲雀
上段に「十二山神」下段に「八十八歳荒木老人」と刻されている。この句碑の左に庚申塚が建っており、桑の木をもっている人物が描かれている。このあたりは桑の栽培が盛んだったとのこと。
② 六合村日影 蝶の飛ぶはかり野中の日影かな
A monument is erected in the front yard of Kunimura Korain.
啼 Unakujaku, untouched by anything in the field
An old monument that was founded during the Kansei period. It seems to have moved from the Fuse Clinic in Kusatsu. *
There are two more monuments in Rokugo Village.
(1) Rokugomura Numao, Tamonten (Bishamonten)
The upper row is marked with “Twelve Mountain Gods” and the lower row is “Eighteen years old Araki”. On the left side of this monument is a Buddhist mound, depicting a person with a mulberry tree. Mulberry cultivation was prosperous around here.
