★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ちょうどイベントやっておりまして、しかもやることが温泉にはいるしかなくなる夜のイベントで、部屋に帰る前の最後の楽しみでした。嫁と一緒に行って、かなりロマンチックなイベントでした。ロウソクの灯りとハーモニカ演奏っていいですね
 It was an event at night, and it was the last event before going back to the room. I went with my wife and it was a very romantic event. You can play the candlelight and the harmonica.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 家族で草津温泉を訪れた時にこの広場では日本酒の日ということで群馬県内のさまざまな会社の方が来ていて食品などさまざまな物を販売していて、とても賑やかで楽しかったです。
湯畑に面しているのでひっきりなしに車やバイクが入ってくるので散策には注意が必要です。
When I visited Kusatsu Onsen with my family, it was a sake day, so various companies in Gunma prefecture came to sell various things such as food, and it was very lively and fun.
Since it faces the Yubatake, cars and motorcycles come in all the time, so you need to be careful when walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 久しぶりに来たら駐車場がすっかりなくなっていて驚きました。クリスマスに向け、ちょうどツリーを立てる工事をしていました。湯畑周辺の雰囲気もずいぶんお洒落になったように感じました。
When I came here after a long time, I was surprised that the parking lot was completely gone. I was just working on building a tree for Christmas. I felt that the atmosphere around Yubatake was also very fashionable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年2月20日に行ったときは小さなかまくらがたくさんあって中に色々展示されていましたが、3月8日にはすっかり何もなくなってました。
トイレあり （通年）
駐車場あり （有料・湯畑観光駐車場）
When I went on February 20, 2021, there were a lot of small kamakura and various exhibits were on display, but on March 8th, nothing was completely gone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 階段状になっている広場で、雪がある時期に来たら地元青年会の方が作った小さいかまくらがありました。
夏場は座って休んでいる人がいたりします。
In the staircase, there was a small kamakura made by the local youth association when it was snowing.
In the summer, some people are sitting and resting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on Jan 7, 2019: This place is very famous for its rich mineral onsen water, there’re a lot of beautiful ryokan and hotels around this area, all with own private onsen. During the night you should visit the town center its awesome with all the beautiful lights. I really enjoyed my stay during the cold winter time, it was a relaxing vacation. There’re also a lot of things you can do beside of just enjoying the onsen:))
