★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「宇多津町：蛭子神社(塩浜地区)」
広い境内を持つ神社です。元はもっと広くて立派な松林だったそうです。昭和9年に宇夫階神社に遷座した塩釜神社もここにありました。
国鉄線路を挟んで南側は船着き場で、北側は塩田でした。そのため古浜の蛭子神社と呼ばれていました。
塩田跡地の再開発や駅の移転に伴って神社も現在のように整備されました。なお、社殿の右側にある祠には建御名方命（たけみなかたのみこと）が祀られていましたが、現在は蛭子神社に合祀されています。
現在は取り立てて目ぼしい行事は行われていません。戦前は花火（地上用）が余興として行われていたこともあるそうですが、その時は大勢の人出があって宇多津の夏の風物詩となっていました。
境内入り口の右手にある灯籠には享和3年と彫られています。

It is a shrine with a wide precinct. It used to be a wider and finer pine forest. Shiogama Shrine, which was relocated to Ubushina Shrine in 1934, was also here.
The south side of the railroad track was the pier, and the north side was the salt pans. Therefore, it was called Furuhama's Ebisu Shrine.
With the redevelopment of the former salt farm and the relocation of the station, the shrine has been improved as it is today. In addition, the shrine on the right side of the shrine was enshrined with Takeminakata no Mikoto, but now it is enshrined at the Ebisu Shrine.
Currently, there are no remarkable events being held. Before the war, fireworks (for the ground) were sometimes held as entertainment, but at that time there were a lot of people and it became a summer tradition in Utazu.
The lantern on the right side of the entrance to the precincts is engraved with the 3rd year of Kyowa.
