西宮神社の祭神は、恵比寿様ではなく蛭子様（ヒルコ様）です。つまり、アマテルカミ様（天照大神様）の姉ワカヒメ様です。たから、西宮神社の神馬舎の白馬が小さなサイズなのです。ワカヒメ様は、三歳で西宮神社に船に乗って筑波山麓から千葉県に渡り、淡島に寄ってから淡路島に寄り、西宮神社に来たのです。

Therefore, the white horse in the Shinmesha of Nishinomiya Shrine is a small size. At the age of three, Wakahime boarded a boat at Nishinomiya Shrine, crossed from the foot of Mt. Tsukuba to Chiba Prefecture, stopped at Awaji Island, then stopped at Awaji Island, and came to Nishinomiya Shrine.
