★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local yakitori/izakaya place just a few minutes from the station with delicious food and large tatami communal sitting rooms.
Great place to come with a group or couples, as a single you would find a lot of the food is only available in doubles and up but the portions are pretty average and the quality is decent.
Highly recommended spot for some izakaya grub while the yakitori itself is worth mentioning but not amazing in it's own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here on our last night after a couple of weeks in Japan and it perfectly summed up everything we loved about our time in the country. It has great quality Yakitori in a traditional setting cooked and served by cool, friendly young people.
Recommend.

the price is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food, there wasn't a dish we ordered that we didn't like! (In fact, we ordered the meatballs twice). They do have an English menu--sorry, forgot to grab a picture of that--although it's not the full menu.
We were seated at the bar, which was nice because you got to watch the chefs cook. They will also serve you a salad like dish complimentary. Note about the menu: everything you order comes in orders of two (or more), but the prices are listed for single items. That being said, it was still affordable. We got 6 dishes plus one drink and it was ~4700.
Staff was very friendly and kind. One of the chefs even popped out to say goodbye and thank you when we stepped out of the restaurant.
