★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは当城の東門、坂崎氏以後亀井氏の代には大手門となっていたところである。
ここを入って右手に見る石垣が三段になっているが、これは三段櫓の跡で、この三段櫓跡を右に見て上がった所が西門跡、その右手を上がって馬立跡、台所跡、海老櫓跡と続く。
また、ここを入って左へ廻って行くところが腰曲輪で、これを行くと隠門に出る。
左手の上が天守台で、かつては三層の天守閣があった。天守台を右に見て上がった所が太鼓丸跡、その上を世間台といい、ここから城下が一望できる。

The stone wall that you see on your right after entering here is the trace of the three-tiered turret. , Kitchen traces, shrimp turret traces, and so on.
Also, the place where you enter here and go around to the left is the waist kuruwa, and if you go this, you will reach the hidden gate.
Above the left hand is the castle tower, which used to be a three-story castle tower. The place where you can see the castle tower on the right is the Taikomaru trace, and the place above it is called the world stand, and you can see the castle from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北方向から続く尾根からのお城の出入口。江戸時代以降の津和野城の正門とされているが、門はなく石積みのみが残っている。
