There was a signboard of Yabusame in front of the temple and it looked like a parking space
It is a quiet shrine with beautiful autumn leaves

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅前で自転車を借りて、ゆっくり走って１５分くらいで到着。季節外れで誰一人と居らず、寂しい感じでしたが、流鏑馬の賑わいを想像しながら馬場を歩いてきました。
I rented a bicycle in front of the station, ran slowly and arrived in about 15 minutes. Although it was out of season and no one was there, I felt lonely, but I walked around the Baba while imagining the bustle of Yabusame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 津和野の道の駅、なごみの里から歩いてすぐの場所にあります。
臨時駐車場があり、渋滞せずに車を停めて流鏑馬を見に行きました。
午前11と午後2時の2回流鏑馬がありますが、午前中に行ってから道の駅の♨️に入りました。
テレビでしか見たことのない流鏑馬、実際に間近で見ると迫力があります。
有料の席もあるみたいですが、立ち見でも充分楽しめます。
It is a short walk from Tsuwano Road Station and Nagomi no Sato.
There was a temporary parking lot, I stopped the traffic without traffic and went to see the drifting horse.
There are two drifting horses at 11 am and 2 pm, but after going in the morning, I entered the foot of the Road Station.
It's a fluent horse that I've only seen on TV, and it's really powerful when you're looking closely.
It seems that there are paid seats, but you can enjoy it on the spot.

全長約270メートルの馬場で、吉見氏時代に鶴岡八幡宮の馬場を模して作られたもの。日本において唯一原形を留めている馬場であるとして、昭和41年（1966年）5月31日に史跡に指定（同47年7月28日名称変更）された。4月の流鏑馬神事では、毎年、鎌倉の小笠原流の面々と地元の射手とで競い合いが行われるらしい
Shimane Prefecture Designated Historic Site “Hagiwara Hachimangu Ryomaba Baba”
This Baba is approximately 270 meters long and was modeled after the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine during the Yoshimi period. It was designated as a historic site on May 31, 1966 (name changed on July 28, 1947) as the only Baba in Japan that retains its original form. It seems that every year in April, there is a competition between the Ogasawara school in Kamakura and local shooters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 毎年4月に行われる流鏑馬神事が有名ですが、それ以外の日も馬場には入れるので、270メートルにも及ぶ直線はなかなかに壮観です。
その他、境内には桜が多数植えられており、春には花見にも最適です。
裏手側には巨大な老杉が山に聳え立っており、見応えがあります。

No tickets needed to observe, bring your own chair or you can rent the stools right up at the front for ¥2,000 for the day.
