Visited at 14:15 on weekdays. There was an appointment at a nearby bank from 15:00, and when I searched the tabelog, I found 100 famous stores here that I haven't visited yet. However, when I saw a little comment, it was written that it would take about 30 minutes to provide it, but I was forced to say that it would be free at 14:00. About half of the inside of the store is as expected, 70% of which seems to have finished eating 10 seconds after arriving, I ordered "French-style beef hamburger black truffle sauce" for 3000 yen. Let's work hard in front of the bank It took 13 minutes to get the bowl, and it was too early (laughs). Pumpkin soup in a large jar, rugged hamburger with a nice truffle smell, mashed potatoes, salad, Bread, pudding and coffee cup. The salad is surprisingly voluminous and nice. Pumpkin soup, which I personally don't like very much, but has a rich pumpkin flavor, which is also plentiful. The favorite hamburger steak. The inside is a little rare, the taste of lean meat, the texture is rough, and the ants and horses are responsive to eating. I really want to eat rice, but sometimes this is also good, mogumo rush instead of mash and bread. It was a treat ~ ^ _ ^

2022.02.16 It is on the first basement floor of a building directly connected to Exit B4 of Shinjuku Sanchome Station. If you arrive after 12:00 on weekdays, there will be two groups waiting. Enter the store in about 20 minutes. The inside of the store was mostly female customers. The daily saute of the day is a French-style minced beef saute (grain mustard sauce). I didn't expect much, but I'm satisfied with the authentic taste that I can't think of as ¥ 1,200.

I ordered a tomato stuffed lunch plate, gizzard confit, and pork rillettes. All were delicious dishes that were properly prepared. The price of each lunch plate is different, but with tomato meat stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pottage, bread, salad, bread pudding, and coffee, 1600 yen was a great deal. Cooking is simple at other shops and this content seems to be possible, but I think that the quality of the food is high here. We felt that the peak was over when we entered the store around 14:00, but since we were open for two people, I imagined that it would be difficult at the peak. I thought that the feeling of doing what was necessary was more in line with the atmosphere than the unnaturally smiling customer service.

I visited for lunch. I went to the bistro 100 famous stores before 11 o'clock because it seems to be crowded, but about 6 people were waiting before. The calm interior and the familiar customer service. I ordered whole tomato meat stuffing (limited to 20 meals?) And sautéed white sea bass, but the pumpkin soup in the set has a good taste of the raw material, and the main has a complicated taste that took time and effort. It was delicious. The dessert bread pudding is also delicious. Coffee could be poured on the spot, but it was free to refill.

Not easy to find French restaurant in the basement. The decoration is inspired from French restaurants, but its realisation is only half-finished, and lighting is bright enough but poorly designed. The lunch starts at 11:00AM and finishes at 16:00 PM. People start queuing after 11:30. Lunch menues range from 1000 to 2000 yen, and include a salad a soup a desert and a tea or coffee to complement the main dish you choose. You also get a piece of fresh and crispy bread. More extensive menus are available (around 3500 yen) and change with seasons. You can of course order "à la carte" for more freedom. The bread is quite good, the duck confit with raspberry sauce is tasty enough to feel like it's worth the price. Quantities are a little small, and all the dishes come together, that's a drawback. I recommend eating the main first, the soup, then the salad and finally the desert. French music is aired at a quite low volume that do not disturb any conversation and the room stays quite calm even when full.

Beef or chicken? An in flight dining experience in a basement in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo! Just went there for lunch having read a review on Yelp. The lunch menu consists of a basic set of choices ranging from ¥1000 to ¥1600, and two, 4 course "gourmet" options that include things like duck confit with mango sauce and lamb en croûte with a red wine sauce. The basic "prix fixe" came with soup, a salad with potato salad on the bottom of the bowl under the lettuce, a 2 x 3 x 1/2 inch slice of what looked like pain de campagne, a sliver of rum baba with no rum flavor, and a cup of what tasted like Folgers coffee. Graciously you're allowed to order 2 choices from the main dish menu for a "combo plate." When I said I wanted the Chef's special gourmet menu I was told it would be about an hour and a half wait. We were the 2nd table to be seated having sat in line for 30 minutes before the restaurant opened but the last to be served. Everything is served airline style on a butler style stainless steel tray. You are brought everything at once so we waited 45 minutes after ordering before we got our "tray." They started at the left side of the room, served up to the single diner next to us, who actually came in 5 minutes after we did, stopped, then proceeded to the opposite end of the dining room, ending with us. I have quite frankly never experienced anything like this in my life in a French restaurant, though tray service is common in Japanese family style restaurants and kaiseki gourmet restaurants. The bizarre thing is that people are not served in the order they come into the restaurant but where you happen to be sitting. So if you have the corner table you are out of luck! Oh yes, when they pour your coffee you put your cup on the attendant's tray just like on an airplane. I kept telling my friend, "I don't get it, I just don't it." When they were 3/4 of the way to our table I suggested I pay for the anemic sherry glass size of wine I ordered and leave. We almost did. I don't see why they have 2 gourmet options if they encourage you in no uncertain terms not to choose them. And then if this is your first (and only time) you don't realize that everything will come at once. When we left, there were people sitting in line outside wrapped along the the wall. They had probably been waiting 45 minutes as well. Horrible food, terrible service, no view, and not exactly cheap considering other French restaurants like Troisgros nearby for the same price. I don't get it...

Restaurant menu has only Japanese and France language, without pictures. Cooking time was too long. I ordered set menu and total time was about 3 hours. Taste was not bad, but I really can't recommend it.
