★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I have been getting lashes done for 6 years. I recently moved to Tokyo and needed a refill on my lashes. After six years, I am mortified going to Crazy Beauty. The staff are very kind but there is no way I would consider this professional by any standard. During my appointment, the lash artist taped my eye lids so that she can see my lash line. This is usually a sign of a beginner. I asked the lash artist how long she had been doing lashes and she said 7 years. I was shocked! My eyelids were taped so far up that my left eye remained open the entire time. My left eye was tearing because it was left open and glue was getting in it.
I don't know where else to begin to capture this horrible establishment. They used so much glue that they use a hair dryer to DRY the glue on the lashes. I have NEVER seen this done anywhere in the United States. This is crazy. You should never be using so much glue. While removing my lashes that were twisted or too long, I felt constant pinching which is not normal which I kept wincing at. She did not apologize or ask if I was okay. Lash extensions should NEVER be painful. At this point, I knew I was in the hands of a complete amateur. At the end of the refill, my top lashes were stuck to my bottom lashes on my right eye and I could barely open my eyes all the way. I told her that my lashes were stuck and she reclined me back to remove the lashes stuck together. I winced at the pain and she apologized to me. When she handed me the mirror, I could barely see myself as my eyes were so puffy from being pinched at and glue burning into my eyes for 90 minutes. They asked me how it looked and I shrugged and said it was ok because I could barely see myself after the hour and a half torture I endured. Blinking was uncomfortable and if I shut my eyes, I feel the glue poking because they use SO much glue. Seriously, who BLOW DRIES the glue because they used too much? This is seriously beyond me. When I got home, I looked in the mirror because I had so much discomfort. Turned out, the lash artist had glued two lashes to my eye lids. Yes, you read that right. Two lashes were glued to my eye lids. I painfully removed these with tweezers and one "lash" had 12 lashes on it, and another had 8 lashes on it. This is the quality of their work. 12 lashes glued onto (what was supposed to be) my lashes. There should never be this many lashes on your lash as this is too heavy for your lashes. This will cause damage to them and your lashes will fall off quicker and grow back weaker. If you look at my first photo, you can see the GLUE all over my lashes. Lash extensions should not look like this. You should be able to see each lash (take a look at the lash photo- This is at Kristin Wood Lashes in Hawaii where I have been getting it done for 6 years. This is how it should look like. There should also never be pain and someone drying the glue from your lashes). The second photo shows the set of 12 and 8 lashes glued to my eye lids that I removed.
They asked me to post a review on their Facebook for a tax-free service and I declined. This is why I think there are so many positive reviews on their Facebook. When you first enter, they make you fill out a questionnaire about what is important to you; Is it value, price, quality, lash artist, etc? I selected quality. I do not care what the price is. I am one who will seek the best quality at whatever cost when it comes to lash extensions. Crazy Beauty is okay for those who are looking for one time lash extensions as you will pay them to damage your lashes. If you have never gotten your lashes done, you may never know the horror this place is and think that your lashes look nice but I will never return to this horrible establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the first time I got eyelashes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, they help me choose a style in English. They had many features and styles. I went without appointment and was directly received, the service was very quick. The place is relaxing but a bit hard to find, I didn't expect it to be on the 9th floor. The chair was very comfortable and I had a little drink and a gift afterward. I'm very pleased with the result, which is visible but natural, exactly what I wanted. In other words, it was perfect ! I truly wish I lived in Tokyo :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do want to make it clear that once your appointment is complete, they sit you down and tell you to write a review. It might just have been the lash artist that I had, but it was the worst fill I have ever had - even though he was extremely nice. Having worn extensions for almost 3 years, I know what to expect. He actually removed all of my previous volume set from my beloved lash artist back home, even after I said only fill/repair. I was fine with it initially because I just wanted my lashes done before my flight. Then upon inspecting their work up close tonight, I noticed that about half of the lashes are actually glued to my eyelid. That is a huge no no in the lash industry. I am flying to Vietnam tomorrow and have thankfully found someone who will remove these painful lashes and give me a volume set that I originally wanted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have done quite some eyelashes previously. This time I’m visiting Tokyo and wanted to check out this place because of the good reviews and obviously they are tourists friendly (speaks English). Overall pretty good. They use eyepads not tape (I was concerned for one of the bad reviews I saw). Finished pretty fast. Price is around $70 for 300, not cheap - I wonder what’s the average in Tokyo since every girl walking around has dramatic eyelashes. Google review gets tax free. They starts super early so that’s another plus.
Solid place for tourists.
