M	Mitchy聖也 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都在住の姉のお勧め、雰囲気もお味もgood❗️なフレンチでした((o(^∇^)o)) 4,200円のAメニュー(コース)を選びましたが、前菜も主菜もアラカルトの様に色々選べる、私は主菜に＋1,650円で山うずらとフォアグラロースト料理を選択、sparkling wineも2杯は飲みたい、ということで、お会計は2人で締めて19,000円弱でした。当日夕方に電話すると「今晩は満席です、またのお越しをお待ちします」、電話を切って他を探そうとしているところへ電話が来て「間違ってました、18時からお二人大丈夫です」とのご縁でうかがいました（╹◡╹） 50代位のシェフと若いウェイター２人が手際も気持ちも良くserveして頂きましたm(_ _)m Recommended by my sister who lives in Kyoto, the atmosphere and taste were good ❗️ French ((o (^ ∇ ^) o)) I chose the A menu (course) for 4,200 yen, but I can choose various appetizers and main dishes like a la carte. I wanted to drink it, so the bill was just under 19,000 yen for two people. When I called in the evening of the day, "I'm full tonight, I'll be waiting for you again." I had a fresh crab salad, celeriac soup, bouillon with beef cheeks for my main dish, and for dessert, mocha parfait with berries of the season. All the dishes were well balanced in flavor and presented artfully on the plate. Prices are very reasonable for the dinner set menus and wine. I disagree with the previous reviewer who said that the food was too salty. The food was NOT too salty. If you like totally bland food, maybe you should stick to eating to certain kinds of Japanese food that have little flavor. This restaurant got a Bib Gourmand from Michelin and it is well deserved.

Frequently in Kyoto (quarterly) and had never gotten around to visiting Comme Chez Michel and we pleasantly found that we had made an error with having not gone earlier! On a historically hot July we made a mid-week dinner booking. Slightly apprehensive, as Kyoto can be a little 'yesteryear' when it comes to traditional French or Italian cuisines, we were happily surprised with the the experience The menu covers a good variety - we went for the tasting course menu ( see photos ) - each of the courses was well prepared and matched up well with the glasses (which we chose) of vino we went for ..... portion size was spot on for what we were looking for Wine selection covers a good and reasonable range of French Notes : venue is slightly compact and on a full lunch or dinner it could be classed as 'cramped' / decor is traditional style with dark woods (a little early 2000's so looks dated) / service was very good and the staff and owner were exceptionally friendly

G	George Chu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great lunch here. The sea bass was light and flavourful, the deer meat was rich and just lighltly seared. Creme bruele was also great. A very very good deal. Book early. Highly recommend it.
