★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 子供時代には、このあたり（蚕ノ社）によくきていたのですが、当時は特に何も感じませんでした。
今回、久しぶりに訪れて、風情のあるいいところだと感じました。
下鴨にある現在の糺の森は、しょっちゅう通りますが、もちろん、こちらもいいところです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都市右京区にある京都市内最古クラスの神社です。境内には小川が流れており、原生林があります。下鴨神社にも糺すの森があり、原生林があります。
別名「蚕ノ社」と呼ばれる「木嶋坐天照御魂（このしまにますあまてるみたま）神社」。その名の由来は、境内に蚕をまつる「養蚕神社」があるためと言われている。本殿西に建てられているのは京都三珍鳥居の一つ、三柱鳥居。三つの鳥居を正三角形に組み合わせた形が特徴だ。現在は柵などで囲われているため近づくことはできないが、以前は三方向から拝めるようになっていたという。

Built to the west of the main shrine is the Mihashira Torii, one of the three rare torii gates in Kyoto. It features a shape that combines three torii gates into an equilateral triangle. Currently, it is surrounded by fences and cannot be approached, but it was said that it was possible to worship from three directions before.
