妙心寺の山内塔頭です。
戦国時代の武将滝川一益が妙心寺56世・九天宗瑞（くてんそうずい）を開祖に請じて創建しました。

妙心寺は、特別公開寺院が今3箇所あり多くの参拝者が訪れています。
長興院さんは、拝観するのは予約が必要ですが、妙心寺さんは塔頭寺院が1杯あるので、時間がある時にゆっくり回りたいな。
近くにはご飯も食べられる所もあります！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 妙心寺を散策してたら 御朱印有りますの貼り紙が インターホンを押して 入ってみると 大きくはないけど綺麗なお寺で 住職さんも優しく丁寧に いろんな説明をしてくださり 御朱印には 自分の名前まで入れて貰えました。 パワースポットの大きな石を拝んで水を掛けてくるよに言われて 手を合わせてきました。

出世岩という岩と、お願いを聞いてくれる地蔵様があります。
御朱印は名前を入れてくれます。普通のが500円、見開きは1000円です。達筆で絵がうまく御朱印コレクションとしてはオススメです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 妙心寺の帰り道に「御朱印」をアピールしているお寺があり寄って参拝しました。名前も書いて頂ける御朱印が沢山有りました。御庭、綺麗です。
