外観はひなびた感じですが，内装は木をふんだんに使ったレトロで落ち着いた雰囲気です．
紅茶への強いこだわりが感じられる茶器や紅茶サンプルの配置です．
店主さんから，紅茶とたい焼きのペアリング，つまりそれぞれをさらに美味しく感じられる組み合わせをお勧めされたので試してみました．
紅茶はティーカップ３杯分をポットで提供してくれます．最初の１杯目は香りがよくすっきりした味わいです．
たい焼きは薄目でもっちりした皮が甘過ぎない小倉あんを包んでおり，ストレートの紅茶とよく合います．

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 念願かなって天然鯛焼きをいただけた。皮はパリッ！あんも甘さ控えめで絶品でした。紅茶も種類豊富で、いただいたチャイは生姜バッチリで美味しかった。ママさんの醸し出す雰囲気が心地よく、店内の時間の流れがゆったり感じました。
I had a long-cherished desire to have a natural Taiyaki. The skin is crisp! The sweetness was modest and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of black tea, and the chai I received was delicious with ginger. The atmosphere created by Mama was comfortable, and I felt the flow of time in the store was relaxed.

現オーナーは四代目で、既に三十年ほど経っている。たい焼きと紅茶の組み合わせは最初からで、最近紅茶が見直されてきたらしい。常連さんもレベルが高く、昨年の銘柄との違いを話しているとか。
