★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 灯台へ行く途中に鯨塚があります。昔、嵐に遭った漁船を鯨が御崎神社沖まで誘導して救ったという伝説があり、その鯨を祀ったのが鯨塚です。神社では毎年正月七日に御神酒とイワシと塩を供えて供養を行っています。また、鯨は神の使いとされ氏子は鯨を獲ったり鯨の肉を食べたりすることはないとのことです。
There is a whale mound on the way to the lighthouse. There is a legend that whales led a fishing boat that had been hit by a storm to the sea off Misaki Shrine, and it was whale mound that worshiped the whale. The shrine is held every year on the 7th of New Year's Day with sacred sake, sardines and salt. In addition, whales are said to be used by gods, and Ujiko does not catch whales or eat whale meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ アオダイショウが遊歩道に三匹いました。雨上がりは、滑るので要注意です。遊歩道には、落下防止柵などありません。駐車場にトイレがあります。岬から太平洋の大海原が見えます。
There were three Ao Dai-sho on the promenade. It is important to watch after the rain as it slides. There are no fall prevention fences on the promenade. There is a toilet in the parking lot. You can see the ocean of the Pacific Ocean from the cape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遊歩道が整備してあり、岬をグルっと回って戻って来る感じです。
連休に行ったのにほぼ貸切り状態で写真を撮るのに絶好の場所です。
って言うか…せっかく遊歩道が整備してあるんだから、もっと沢山の人に行って欲しいと思います。
The promenade is in good condition and it feels like it will come round around the fort.
It is a great place to take photos almost reserved, even if you went on consecutive holidays.
I mean ... ... I think I want you to go to many more people because the promenade has been well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ほとんど人も来ない遊歩道なので、のんびりと海を眺める事が出来ます。
来た方向に帰ろうとしたら、カモシカと遭遇しました。
大人しくジッとしてこちらの動きの様子を見ていたので、刺激しないように反対側の方向へ遠回りして帰りました。
Because it is a promenade where few people come, you can relax and look at the sea.
When I came back in the direction I came, I encountered an antelope.
I was quietly watching the movement, so I returned to the other side to avoid irritation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御崎神社の鳥居をくぐり抜けた先に駐車場があります。駐車場から遊歩道が出ており、岬をぐるっと一周する事が出来ます。2020年6月18日に訪れた時はニッコウキスゲがちょうど見頃でした。
There is a parking lot just past the torii gate of Misaki Shrine. There is a promenade from the parking lot, and you can go round the cape. When I visited on June 18, 2020, Nikkokisuge was in full bloom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ サンダルで歩いた～！蛇とか蜂が出るか心配したけど、蝶々がたくさん！波音を聞きながらの散歩は心地よい。ぐるーっと、1周しました。夏で気温32度。人はいない！船をゆったり見られる。
I walked with sandals! I was worried whether a snake or a bee would come out, but there are many butterflies! A pleasant walk while listening to the sound of waves. I went around once. The temperature is 32 degrees in summer. There are no people! You can watch the boat leisurely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Cape Osaki in December 2015. We did a quick lunch break at the end of the promenade where you can see the sea. It is an amazing photo spot!
