It is a pine tree that withstood the great tsunami of the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake and became a symbol of reconstruction. It seems that it is called a dragon pine because its appearance looks like a dragon glaring at the sea. When I actually visited and learned the background, I almost naturally spilled tears. Even though it was hit by the tsunami, it never took root and faced the sea straight. It seemed to symbolize the strength of the people living in Tohoku. When I visited here, the dragon was quietly looking down at the sea. The surface of the water was shining brightly and calming down.

【Rong no Matsu】 I went to tell you about the pines of dragons in the Great East Japan Earthquake relics "Denshokan". The leaves and leaves were overthrown in 3.11, but the appearance of the left is like a dragon. It looks like a dragon god who protects the people who are facing the disaster. As it is a strong sea breeze, you should wear warm clothes.

The return of my father's memorial service. I revisited Iwaizaki, where I last traveled with my father. Within 200m, there are many sightseeing spots such as "Dragon Pine", "Splash Stone", "Iwaisaki Lighthouse", "Hidenoyama Raigoro Statue", "Kotodaira Shrine", and "Waiteniwa".

It was very comfortable in a place where I could see over 180 degrees. The toilet is fully equipped, but the drinking fountain cannot be used (corona effect? Failure?) There is a solar mobile charger and I tried it and it was charged, but don't forget to keep it charged ^ _ ^

A mysterious pine tree that survived the great tsunami of the earthquake and remained undisturbed. As the name suggests, it looks like a dragon and watches over the land of Kesennuma with powerful visuals.

Dragon pine ⚠ Volume attention ⚠ Dragon pine in Kesennuma ? It looks like a dragon ? ? Before the tsunami, there was salt-blown rock More vigorously It seems that he was blowing salt There were quite a few people because the sea was hot ? Keep as far away as possible

It really does look like a dragon. Amazingly the tree survived the tsunami on 3.11. It is a nice spot to look out onto the Pacific Ocean. It is difficult to get there as the roads around there were destroyed in the disaster. They are currently trying to rebuild the roads in the area but it is a complete mess at the moment. You can get there but you will need to drive slowly on gravel/dirt roads
