★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a day of sightseeing we returned to our hotel in search of coffee and dessert. We found a great spot at the Veloce Caffe in Kyoto. The chocolate banana cake was yummy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Espresso and espresso drinks like lattes and cappuccinos were very good! Espresso was not bitter like many others we’ve discovered.
Service is very friendly and they have an English menu with a staff that does well with English. Service is prompt!
Items in bakery case are prepackaged. I wasn’t too impressed with the bakery items, but the cheesecake was ok.
Location is convenient!
They have a smoking/non smoking section. It is an Internet cafe type, and many people brought their laptops and books.
