★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is free to visit & not crowded! Great for amazing shots of Tokyo at day & at night. You can even spot Mt. Fuji between some buildings if you're lucky enough to go on a sunny day. It's on the 25th floor by the way!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous free view and we got to see Mount Fuji! Only a matter of time before this gets as crowded as the Shinjuku Government Building but right now we were the only tourists. At the bottom is a beautiful park and some amusement rides, too. Great spot to visit for a few hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the Civic Center to take advantage of the viewing deck. Reception staff were warm and friendly, happy to give directions.
The viewing deck offers maybe 270 degree views of Tokyo and one can see all the way to Mt Fuji on a clear day.
First visit was at night and was so impressed I followed it up the next morning and was rewarded with the vision that is Mt Fuji.
A piano is available for anyone inspired enough to play and various vending machines if a beverage is needed.
There are 3 large lifts offering direct access to the viewing deck all of which would be wheelchair friendly. No steps at all to get around and there a public restrooms on the same floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view was great, plus there's live piano in the background. Highly appreciate the pianist mister, it makes the viewing experience more magical. I arrived at 9.30 and apparently i was in the same lift with the pianist (which i just found out later on when he's playing). First nobody was really there except me, then, as time goes people coming, but not too crowded. The fuji was slightly seen. Love it so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a wonderful observation deck! It was low key, not too crowded at all. Went around sunset and caught amazing views of shinjuku skyline with mt fuji peaking through in the back. Not to mention it's free! There's also a lot of great things to do in the Tokyo dome city area right by there. Highly recommend!

One of the best free place to see tokyo from above. They provide a 270 degree view. There's a restaurant as well. it's on the 26th floor of the bunkyo civic center. Just casually go inside, go to the elevator, and you'll see the sign stated "sky view" or something near the button for 26th floor. You can see tokyo skytree, mount tsukuba, and many other building. Pay a visit during autumn! you can enjoy the view of koishikawa korakuen garden from above. There's a piano, and everyone allowed to play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great viewing lounge. If you are coming from the subway, just follow the signs to Bunkyo Civic Center. Once inside the building, find the elevator and go up to the 25th floor and it's there. It's free, wasn't crowded and super easy to get in (no need to ask for a visitor pass or anything like that).
