The chicken curry was the most popular one and tasted wonderful. Also, pork curry was really tender and delicious as well. They know how to cook meat in the best way. We also recommend the cheese topping. You get a large portion with two potatoes so you will be so full after the meal. Make sure you bring cash. They only accept cash.
w	wrai ther (wraither) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint restaurant on the second floor of a quiet building. There were more people inside than I expected. I read that people complain about the volume of the food here so I decided to order the large size for an extra 100 yen. Good thing I did as I would have been dissatisfied otherwise. Most dishes were 1500 yen but the bestseller - the chicken curry was a little bit more expensive. The curry did not disappoint; it had an earthy grit but still had liquid consistency, and the chicken was tender and packed with flavor too (they didn’t use breast part). The dish was very addicting, fortunately the price was too much for a daily meal so I have to artificially constrain myself.
R	Ryogoku on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The famous Bondy curry in jimbocho. We decided to go to the non original branch to avoid the long lines. Alas, there was only 1 group ahead of us and we were sat right away. The place overall we’re very clean and cozy. As for the food, condiments were on point. Raisins, rakkyo and hujinfukujinzuke were all great compliments to the curry sauce. We had the beef curry. The sauce was probably the best curry I’ve had in Japan. We had the spiciest level and it was more like a perfect kick. Still very enjoyable and not overpowering. I give 4 stars as there wasn’t enough beef in the bowl. I feel like for ¥1500 they should have more quantity. Nonetheless, I will comeback for more as it was that good.
M	Mauro Bellati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious japanese curry. Very dense with a rich taste. We got special pork-ribs curry and cheese curry. The shop is at the 2F with few retro style tables. You might wait a bit in the line since it's quite popular venue. I will definitely come back.

To avoid the crowd I arrived around 5pm on a Sunday and waited less than five minutes til I was seated. Had the chicken with cheese topping. It was a bit on the oily side, but tasty curry indeed. The only dissatisfaction was that the cheese topping does not melt smoothly into the curry; it just hardens up to a solid chunk. I had to awkwardly chop it up with my spoons as they don’t have knives or forks.
