You can see the location of Takezojima in the distance. Characters of the monument are small and it is difficult to read ? After the parking lot is far away ?

記念碑です。
眺めがよくゆっくりできます。屋根は有りませんが、船乗り場と隣接しているため、雨宿りはできます。
There is nothing special.
It is a monument.
The view is good and you can relax. There is no roof, but since it is adjacent to the pier, you can stay in the rain.

From the history museum of the cruise to here. Ibukiyama covered with snow, Takeujima drifting in the waves, the location is good.

竹生島行き観光船発着所の脇に、ホンマにひっそりと現れます。
Is it a little confusing with just the sound, "♪ We are Uminoko"? Although it is the lyrics, it may be a song that people from western Japan have heard in some way, partly due to the influence of Tokiko Kato's song.
It appears quietly in Honma next to the departure and arrival point of the sightseeing boat bound for Chikubu Island.
