Y	Yasuhisa Abe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本四備讃線に所属する無人通過駅三兄弟の一つ。すぐ近くに宇野線の彦崎駅があるため当初は設置予定がなかったが、地元の請願により駅が置かれた。そのためかホームの幅が他の駅より狭い。かつて茶屋町～児島間を走っていた下津井電鉄線は地形に沿うように迂回していたが、この駅を通る下り列車はそのまま蟻峰山トンネルへ突っ込む。 ICOCAエリアなのでそれに対応した簡易式自動改札機があり。駅の所在地はギリギリ岡山市内であるが、両隣の駅は倉敷市内である。そしてこの植松という場所、過去の合併によっては倉敷市になっていたかもしれない。その昔は東隣の彦崎と同じく彦崎村であったが、その後彦崎と別れて西隣の林とくっつき、郷内村の一部になる。その郷内村が児島市（現在の倉敷市児島地域）と合併することになると、今度は林と別れてまた彦崎の方にくっつき、灘崎町の一部に。そして平成の大合併で灘崎町が岡山市に合併し、今に至る。 One of the three unmanned transit station brothers who belong to the Honshibi Sansen Line.
