｢熱海市公式ウェーブサイト｣によれば
♪3代将軍徳川家光の御殿跡
♪明治維新後に｢村受け公有地｣
♪明治11年、岩崎彌太郎 (三菱財閥の創業者) 購入
♪明治21年12月｢熱海御用邸｣竣工
♪昭和6年、熱海町に払い下げ
現在は熱海市役所、花ひろば
